A captive breeding program, involving Derb and a group of females aged 15 to 20, may be the only answer, if the White Nerd isn’t to go the way of Tasmanian Tiger, or the Hawaiian Crow. They could be housed at the bottom of a mineshaft. Nuclear reactors could provide power almost indefinitely. Greenhouses could maintain plantlife. Animals could be bred and slaughtered…
